The Position
We are seeking an Inventory Control Analyst I which is an entry-level role responsible for supporting day-to-day inventory operations, data entry, and basic reconciliation tasks within our ERP systems. The position focuses on developing key inventory control skills and supporting cross-functional teams in maintaining accurate and up-to-date inventory records.
You will learn and support processes such as inventory transactions, cycle counting, data validation, and material flow monitoring. You will provided hands-on exposure to ERP systems (e.g., IFS, SAP), and is designed to build a foundational skill set that can grow into higher-level analyst roles within the Inventory Control team.

- Inventory Data Entry & Transaction Support
- Perform routine inventory transactions such as receipts, transfers, and adjustments in ERP system.
- Support production and warehouse teams by ensuring accurate data entry for material movements.
- Cycle Counting & Physical Inventory Support
- Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory activities.
- Record and reconcile discrepancies under the guidance of senior analysts.
- Support hands-on physical inventory audits and floor walks when needed.
- ERP System Learning & Support
- Gain hands-on experience using ERP systems (e.g., IFS, SAP) to process transactions and retrieve data.
- Assist with troubleshooting minor errors and escalating system issues.
- Inventory Reporting & Documentation
- Run standard inventory reports and assist in monitoring stock levels and material status.
- Support data validation and clean-up tasks to ensure accuracy in reporting.
- Warehouse & Production Floor Support
- Spend time on the warehouse floor to gain operational understanding and support inventory investigations.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment as needed to verify inventory and assist with reconciliation.
- Coordinate with warehouse and production teams for material movements and physical checks.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with warehouse, production, and logistics teams to track material movements.
- Communicate basic inventory status updates and assist in resolving day-to-day discrepancies.
- Continuous Improvement Participation
- Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvements.
- Participate in training and process documentation development to build team knowledge.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field OR equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
- 1–2 years of experience in inventory control, logistics, finance, or supply chain (internship or co-op experience acceptable)
- Willingness to obtain forklift certification required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to ERP systems (IFS, SAP, Oracle, etc.) through coursework, internships, or previous work
- Forklift operation experience and basic knowledge of warehouse practices
- Interest in process improvement, automation, and data-driven decision-making
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel (filters, formulas, pivot tables preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Willingness to learn and take initiative
- Effective communication skills and ability to work well with cross-functional teams
- Comfortable working in both office and warehouse environments
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently in a fast-paced environment
