Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage the client service team, including hiring, training, and performance support.
- Oversee client onboarding and ensure smooth transitions for new team members.
- Maintain industry knowledge, advise clients on benefit strategies, and enhance service delivery.
- Retain and grow client accounts through proactive relationship management and consultation.
- Collaborate with sales teams, market leaders, and carriers to implement best practices.
- Monitor performance metrics, drive engagement, and ensure revenue growth.
- Promote company culture through leadership, teamwork, and fostering a positive work environment.
Qualifications
- Business or related college degree preferred and 5 years of industry or related industry experience.
- Ability to meet the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers; focus on establishing long-term relationships by gaining customer trust and respect; anticipate customers' needs and deliver results with passion; look for continuous improvement in delivering products and services to all customers.
- Ability to use verbal and written communication skills effectively in group and one-on-one sessions. Utilize multiple delivery methods to ensure communication is understood (e-mail, PowerPoint, graphs, etc.) Alter styles appropriately according to group needs.
- Possess the knowledge and technical skills required to perform job responsibilities. Keep up to date on industry developments and practices. Work closely with carriers and utilize them as knowledge resources.
- Strong proficiency with solid knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Holds (or is willing to obtain) an Ohio Health and Welfare Insurance License and completes continuing education requirements as needed.
