Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary relationship manager for enterprise clients (1,000 employees), driving retention and growth.
- Lead multi-year benefits planning and design strategies aligned with financial and workforce objectives.
- Advise C-Suite executives, HR leaders, and finance teams with strategic insights and boardroom-level recommendations.
- Oversee complex funding arrangements, leveraging actuarial insights and claims data to optimize cost structures.
- Negotiate with carriers, manage vendor selection, and ensure regulatory compliance with ERISA, ACA, and multi-state mandates.
- Identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities within health, pharmacy, voluntary benefits, and wellness programs.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and consulting teams to refine enterprise go-to-market strategies.
- 10 years of experience in employee benefits consulting, insurance brokerage, or corporate benefits leadership.
- Proven ability to manage and advise on benefits programs for 1,000 employee groups.
- Expertise in funding strategies (self-funded, level-funded, captives) and advanced financial modeling.
- Strong carrier and vendor negotiation skills at an enterprise level.
- Executive presence with the ability to present complex financial data to C-Suite leaders.
- Deep knowledge of compliance regulations, including ERISA, ACA, and state-specific requirements.
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (MBA, JD) and industry designations (CEBS, CLU) preferred.
