Job Summary: Looking for a highly motivated In-House Marketing Specialist. The ideal candidate will be self-starter with a proven record of customer service and support. This position is responsible for marketing accounts to the various carriers we partner with - this includes managing pipelines, compiling and filling out submission documents, negotiating with carriers as required, preparing proposals, etc.
- Effectively manage a pipeline of new/renewal business accounts

Partner with Producers to collect and obtain all necessary and required documents

Complete all account and client forms required for carrier submission

Submit accounts to carriers to obtain quotes

Document all correspondence and key details within CRM and Agency Management applications

Keep track of, and follow-up on, all pending quotes

Respond to underwriting inquiries and requests for additional details

As quotes are received, proactively review accounts to identify items that should be addressed / re-reviewed with the carrier underwriters and or brought to the attention of the Producer

Strategically assess quotes received to recommend / determine the ideal carrier selection

Prepare customer proposals

Send out finalized documents for customer signatures

Partner with account servicing team to assure accounts are entered into our Agency Management System
- General miscellaneous tasks as required by management
- TX Property and Casualty (P&C) Insurance License required
- Oil & Gas Industry Experience preferred, but not required
- Experience in Applied EPIC & Indio preferred
- Familiarity with Carrier websites is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 (i.e., outlook, word, excel, etc.)
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Must be good with numbers, analytical and yet have great communication skills
- Communicate effectively with brokers, underwriters, customers, and sales representatives
- Strong attention to detail - must document all correspondence within respective agency management and CRM applications
- Must be highly organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to adapt to organizational needs as required
This job requires presence in the office on a hybrid schedule as agreed with the manager.
