Alera Group is seeking an Internal Communications Specialist to join their Marketing team!

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support creating and managing internal communications strategies, key messages, and plans designed to grow and strengthen our business.
- Ensure Alera Group's story and Purpose, Mission, and Vision are appropriately and consistently integrated in colleague-facing communications.
- Support change management and communications recommendations that engage colleagues, ensuring thoughtful sequencing and cadence of messages to garner increased engagement and awareness.
- Project manages internal communications deliverables from initiation through to planning, executing, and measuring results, keeping projects on track and/or on budget.
- Develop trusted advisor relationships with key internal clients across the firm.
- Analyze data from internal communications, present recommendations and adjust strategy as needed.
- Build and deliver presentations to various groups of internal stakeholders.
- Draft messages and scripts from senior executives, to be used in written or spoken form.
- Align internal and external messaging, in conjunction with the wider communications team.
- Build monthly newsletters for various internal audiences.
- Utilize numerous communication channels to engage with employees including written media, videos, audio, virtual events, and more.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Experience supporting Human Resources communications activities
- Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Experience producing integrated tactics (collateral, presentations, digital/social, video, etc.)
- Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively with multiple stakeholders
- Relationship-building in in-person and virtual environments
- Agile and adaptable to change
- Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Monday.com a plus
Travel
Some occasional travel may be required to other offices and/or off-site meetings. Anticipated travel is less than 10%.
Required Education and Experience
- 3-5 years of internal communication experience in a corporate or agency environment
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations, English or a related field
