All team members will be required to work on-site three (3) days per week. The on-site days will be Wednesdays and Thursdays, with a third day to be selected by the employee in consultation with their leader.

As the Senior Manager, you will be hands-on in managing day-to-day operations while also leading a small team of Benefits Specialists. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of programs, while also contributing to the broader benefits and well-being strategy. Key Responsibilities :
- Team Leadership : Guide and support a team of Benefits Specialists to ensure high performance across the areas of benefits administration, process and internal customer service. Track the workload of the team and ensure service levels are met or exceeded.
- Benefit Administration : Implement and maintain efficient processes for benefit administration, ensuring compliance with laws and Five Star policies. Proactively identify areas of organizational risk and partner with consulting and legal teams as needed to ensure compliance.
- Communication & Engagement : Develop strategies to communicate benefits offerings to employees and internal teams, aiming to increase understanding and engagement for a dispersed front-line population of employees. Ensure all internal communications materials and platforms are up to date with relevant, current information.
- Strategy & Design : Collaborate with the Senior Director of HR to align benefit programs with company goals and market trends.
- Market Research : Stay updated on health, wellness trends, and emerging technologies to recommend enhancements to benefit offerings.
- System Enhancements : Work with the internal Workday team to address system issues and implement improvements for better employee experience and efficient administration of benefit programs.
- Process Improvement : Proactively identify and implement process improvements to streamline programs and tools.
- Project Management : Lead and manage benefit program implementations, including the annual open enrollment period.
- Compliance & Reporting : Monitor compliance with federal and state regulations and ensure timely filings and notices.
- Leave of Absence & 401(k) Program Management : Oversee the centralized leave program and manage the company’s 401(k), ensuring compliance and overseeing audits and committee meetings.
- Annual Budget & Vendor Management : Collaborate on establishing the benefit budget and manage vendor relationships.
- Utilization & Data Analysis : Track and analyze benefit utilization trends, report on insights to optimize program utilization and value.
- Program Engagement : Implement initiatives and programs to further enhance and drive program awareness and utilization. Partner with internal HR team to collaborate on the rollout and ongoing use of benefit programs.
