Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating CNC machinery to produce high-quality components according to specifications.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC lathe machines to perform various machining operations
- Read and interpret blueprints to understand product specifications
- Monitor machine operations to ensure products meet quality standards
- Inspect finished parts using calipers and other measuring tools
- Perform routine maintenance on machines as needed
- Collaborate with the production team to optimize workflow and efficiency
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating CNC machinery, specifically lathes
- Proficiency in using hand tools and measuring instruments like calipers
- Familiarity with CAM programming is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of assembly line processes and quality control procedures
- Experience with welding, pressing, or working in a factory setting is advantageous
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $25.03 - $32.00 per hour
