Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Cost Accountant to join our team. The Cost Accountant will be responsible for analyzing financial data, ensuring accurate cost accounting, and providing support in financial decision-making processes.
Duties
- Perform account analysis and reconciliations to ensure accuracy
- Utilize accounting software to manage financial data and generate reports
- Apply knowledge of GAAP principles and double-entry bookkeeping
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports
- Conduct cost analysis to support management in decision-making processes
Requirements
- Proficiency in accounting systems and software
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial concepts
- Experience with QuickBooks is a plus
- Ability to perform financial analysis effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance Min 3 years of experience within accounting in a manufacturing firm with considerable hands-on floor experience.
This experience has to include and ideally standard rate and capital variances. Strong research and analytical skills included.
Min 2 years of advanced Excel experience (PivotTables, data manipulation...)

Pay: $78,887.00 - $95,000.00 per year
