Village Public Safety Officer Location: St. George Island, Alaska
Full -time (37.5 hours per week) Rate of Pay: $70,700.00 - $81,315.00 DOE Benefits including housing assistance
Duties: Include but are not limited to law enforcement, community policing, fire safety/ prevention/ and suppression, emergency medical, and search and rescue.
Qualifications: Applicants must pass a pre-employment physical fitness test, criminal background check, medical examination, and complete the 15-week Alaska Law Enforcement Training Academy, 2-week Rural Fire Protection Specialist certification course, and a 1-week ETT certification course, in Sitka, AK. Salary Range: $70,700.00 - $81,315.00
