Manager, Sales Order Operations
Westford, MA
130K -150K plus 15% annual bonus and RSU’s
Must have Order Management experience.
We are looking for someone with strong Order Management and Sales Operations experience and Strong Leadership skills. You will support the company’s largest booking dollars and volume across all Operating Companies. You will manage 5 Sales Order Administrators. Would like someone with some finance in their background.
• Oversee daily activity performed by Sales Order Administrators to ensure timely and accurate entry of sales orders into an order entry system within established timeframes.
• Develop, design and implement processes, procedures and reporting required as the result of the company’s position on achieving and maintenance of Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
• Review sales programs and non-standard orders to address and resolve revenue recognition issues in accordance with GAAP.
• Work with sales and/or customer to resolve issues that impact revenue to achieve a resolution acceptable to both the customer and the company
• Respond to non-routine questions from salespeople or customers about booking, pricing and revenue recognition policies and procedures.
• Work with Contract Administration to ensure that customer contracts appropriately protect the company from a financial perspective.
• Work closely with cross-functional groups within Finance to develop and implement processes and procedures to align the group with GAAP requirements as well as best practices.
• Generate reports and analyze financial data used for financial reporting.
We want to hire a “Critical Thinker”, someone that is analytical and process focused and wants to build relationships with other departments. A real strategic person that is smart and willing to learn new systems and lead a Global Sales Operations team. A fast learner that can pick up systems like Oracle, NetSuite and Salesforce. Work with Deal Desk department and know what deals are coming in. Sit in on revenue forecast calls. Work with other departments in a fast-paced Global Sales OPS department.
We want someone who will own Order Management and with that comes a lot of cross functional work with other teams, finance, Revenue, etc.
Need Hands on actually booking management experience . this role is not a heavy centric analytics role, it is getting deep into Order Management and Operations around order bookings and 606 Compliance.
