Fund Controller
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Fund Controller to join a leading finance team. This role offers the opportunity to lead fund accounting operations and contribute to strategic financial oversight across multiple investment vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of fund accounting, including NAV calculations, investor allocations, and financial statement preparation.
- Manage external fund administrators, auditors, and service providers to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with applicable GAAP and regulatory requirements.
- Support capital activity processes including capital calls, distributions, and investor reporting.
- Partner with investment, legal, and operations teams on fund structuring and performance analysis.
- Lead audit and tax processes, ensuring accurate documentation and timely filing.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA strongly preferred
- 5 years of relevant experience in fund accounting, public accounting, or asset management
- Strong technical knowledge of investment fund structures and accounting standards
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
