Qualifications / Requirements:
- 2-4 years of direct experience in Investment Banking / Private Equity with a main focus on TMT, Telecommunications, Digital Infrastructure sector (REQUIRED)
- Exceptional financial modeling & analytical skills
- Desire to live in Charlotte or Kansas City for the long-term
Job brief:
- Assist with both quantitative and qualitative analysis to evaluate potential direct equity investments.
- Support various aspects of the investment process, including sourcing opportunities, driving value creation, monitoring portfolio performance, and contributing to marketing initiatives.
- Contribute to transaction due diligence across key work-streams, including financial, commercial, legal, and tax considerations.
- Develop and maintain financial models for both new and existing investments to support decision-making and forecasting.
- Prepare and deliver investment analysis to internal stakeholders, including senior leadership, investment committees, and other relevant parties.
- Work closely with management and investment teams to evaluate the operational maturity of current and prospective portfolio companies, identifying opportunities for improvement and value enhancement.
