Summary: The Logistics Specialist is responsible for allocations and outbound logistics operations to achieve sales budgets, inventory goals, and service levels. This position will coordinate closely with the sales, order management, and warehouse teams, ensuring 3PL service levels are met, while resolving shipping issues, and fostering strong relationships with internal teams and external partners. The role requires at least two years of outbound logistics experience, strong Excel and reporting skills and an organized, detail-oriented, pro-active approach. This position reports directly into the Sr. Logistics Manager and is based in our NY HQ location with a hybrid schedule.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Perform the allocation operations efficiently, ensuring financial success by achieving sales budget, inventory targets and service levels
• Work closely with sales team and order management to cancel or extend orders and communicate updates to the warehouse
• Create reports for approaching cancel date and credit hold orders
• Closely monitor 3PLs (US and EU) processing to ensure service level agreements are met
• Analyze warehouses KPI data and implement improvements
• Resolve and respond to shipping issues for wholesale customers
• Monitor and fix integration errors in ERP and WMS systems
• Ensure 3PLs have updated vendor guidelines and is compliant with all requirements
• Manage Return Authorizations and Chargebacks, while communicating with Finance and Sales Team
• Support Finance team with providing PODs and other documentation for auditor and customer requests
• Ensure Commercial Invoices are created for International Shipments
• Review cycle counting data, investigate shortages with warehouses and perform stock adjustments in ERP
• Run EOM checks and balances
• Process warehouse transfer orders
• Create, maintain and distribute weekly outbound shipping forecast
• Order RFID tickets when required
• Create shipping codes (UNLO) for new EU customers, as well as declarations for new shipping seasons
• Check, approve and log warehouses activity invoices and outgoing freight bills
• Manage QC, relabeling and reticketing projects at warehouses
• Supports Senior Logistics Manager with other activities as needed
• Weekly allocation, KPI, shipping and outbound projections
Position Requirements/Skills:
• Minimum 3 years of business working experience with minimum 2 years of Outbound Logistics a must.
• Knowledge of RLM a plus
• Experience with Logistics, 3PLs and WMS a must
• Strong excel skills
• Must possess a sense of urgency towards work completion
• Positive attitude and ability to lead well through change of priorities
• Proactive, highly organized, and detail-oriented individual who can work well both independently and as part of a team.
• knowledge of Third Party Logistics Provider, Freight Forwarders and Couriers
• be able to travel to our warehouses
