The Home Depot Accounts Receivable will be responsible for daily maintenance of Home Depot accounts, providing customer service with collection issues, and resolving billing discrepancies and short payments. The HD Accounts Receivable will work closely with the Accounting Clerk and each of our branches to maintain accurate AR record. Responsibilities will also include various accounting duties within the accounting department.
Responsibilities & Essential Functions:
- Record and reconcile Home Depot payments.
- Monitor overdue invoices and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Communicate with Home Depot Claims department regarding payment-related inquiries.
- Provide excellent customer service in addressing billing concerns.
- Prepare and maintain Home Depot AR reports.
- Provide regular updates on accounts receivable status.
- Maintain accurate records of Home Depot transactions.
- Organize and archive financial documents.
- Apply payments to appropriate customer accounts/invoices.
- Reconcile discrepancies between AR records and general ledger.
