What are the responsibilities and job description for the Personal Healthcare/Caregiver position at Alfa & Omega Home Care Agency LLC?
Responsibilities:
- Provide care and assistance to individuals in need, including those with developmental disabilities or requiring hospice care
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Administer medications according to prescribed schedules and dosage instructions
- Ensure the safety and well-being of residents by following established protocols and resident rights
- Support individuals in maintaining their independence and dignity
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents
- Document and report any changes in residents' condition or behavior to the appropriate supervisor
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred but not required
- Ability to lift and transfer individuals who may require assistance
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures is a plus
- Familiarity with working with people with developmental disabilities or in an assisted living setting is beneficial
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient demeanor

Pay: $17.50 - $18.50 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 36 per week
