Your role will be to help them maintain their independence, dignity, and sense of purpose while fostering a warm and compassionate environment. PASCO's mission to facilitate choice, independence, and peace of mind for our clients starts with YOU - our Caregivers - by offering more than just assistance, but companionship, empathy, and a caring touch all while in the safety of their homes.We're always looking for dependable and friendly Personal Caregivers to fill a variety of schedules for clients which include full or part-time, weekends / weekdays, day and / or nights. This allows caregiver and client to work together to ensure a perfect fit for both parties.
While working with PASCO clients, one may expect to perform any of the following caregiving tasks :
- Assisting with personal care : bathing and grooming, dressing, toileting, and exercise
- Dietary / Nutrition : preparing meals / snacks, encouraging fluid intake, purchase vitamins, meal planning
- General health care : overseeing medication and prescriptions usage, appointment reminders and administering medicine
- Personal supervision : providing constant companionship and general supervisio
- Transportation : driving to and from activities, running errands, and help getting in and out of wheelchair-accessible vehicle
- Emotional support : being a stable companion and supporter in all matters personal, health-related and emotional
- Back-up care (or respite) services : providing other caregivers a break
- Home organization : help with organizing, packing or cleaning for a trip, or general house care and cleaning (i.e. laundry)
- Health monitoring : following a care plan and noticing any changes in the individual's health, recording and reporting any differences
Benefits include :
Compensation : $15.75 - $23 / hour depending on client and services provided through Medicaid Waivers
