Job Responsibilities:
As the In-Home Support Services (IHSS) Registered Nurse (RN), you will be responsible for:
- Complete initial and ongoing comprehensive assessments for IHSS, VA, and other clients as needed
- Evaluate and develop plan of care for patients in collaboration with the office, family, and case managers to ensure continuity of care
- Counsel and educate the patient and family in meeting healthcare/nursing and related needs
- Supervise IHSS and VA caregivers
- Contribute to the client's plan of care to ensure every client has the support they need from the home care agency
- Administer skills validation tests and provide training as needed
- Provide a professional, respectful, and compassionate experience of care to all patients and caregivers you interact with
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license that is active in Colorado
- CPR Certification (demonstration course required)
- Pass a background and CAPS check
- At least six (6) months of hands-on clinical experience
