Position Summary : As a Staff Accountant, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy of financial records and reporting. You will collaborate with the finance team and community leadership to manage day-to-day accounting functions, including general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, and month-end closings. Key Responsibilities : Manage general ledger entries and ensure timely reconciliations. Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports. Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. Perform bank reconciliations and manage cash flow reporting. Support the month-end and year-end close processes. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures as well as GAAP. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and audit preparation. Collaborate with community leadership to provide financial insights and support operational goals. Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 2 years of accounting experience (experience in senior living or healthcare is a plus). Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Yardi, or similar) and Excel. Strong understanding of GAAP principles. Excellent organizational and communication skills.
