We are looking for a dedicated and organized Human Resources Specialist to join our team. If you're proficient in Microsoft Office, have hands-on experience with ADP, and are passionate about supporting employees and management in a fast-paced work environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment & Staffing: Attract, pre-screen, and schedule interviews for department and location managers.
- Benefits Management: Oversee onboarding, benefits administration, offboarding, and annual open enrollment processes.
- Performance Appraisals: Assist with preparing and sending 90-day and annual performance appraisals.
- Employee Engagement: Organize company events such as holiday parties and picnics to foster employee morale.
- New Hire Orientation: Lead new hire orientations, ensuring smooth integration into the company.
- Employee Relations: Provide support and guidance to employees and managers on matters related to workplace issues, harassment, and discrimination.
- Internal Communication: Create and distribute monthly newsletters for internal communications.
- Unemployment Filings: Manage unemployment claims, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
- Incident Reporting: Handle incident reports, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up.
- Payroll Processing: Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll using ADP.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) Required.
- ADP Workforce Now experience is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of HR functions such as recruitment, benefits, employee relations, worker compensation claims reporting and payroll.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in completing tasks.
