Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner, providing recommendations and taking orders efficiently.
- Monitor customer behavior to ensure responsible alcohol service and adherence to legal regulations.
- Handle cash register transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing tabs.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels of beverages and supplies, placing orders as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and health regulations within the bar area.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food orders and ensure timely service.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with patrons.
- Basic math skills for handling cash register transactions and managing tabs effectively.
- Knowledge of brewing techniques and various beverage recipes is a plus.
- Familiarity with food safety practices within the food industry is essential.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
