What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender position at The Royal Palms Shuffleboard Club Chicago?
The Royal Palms is looking for a high volume bartender with neighborhood bar charm! Club/busy atmosphere on the weekends with a more relaxed neighborhood bar vibe on weekdays and League nights. Employment includes a free meal every shift from our rotating list of food trucks and unlimited shuffleboard.
Bartenders are tasked with:
Setting up and breaking down the bar.
Keeping a well organized and clean station throughout the shift
Making simple touch cocktails with speed and accuracy
Creating a welcoming and fun atmosphere for our leaguers and newcomers alike
An Ideal candidate will have:
- High volume bartending experience
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- An extroverted personality and a love of humans
- Proficiency with POS systems (Toast would be ideal)
- Full time with weekend availability (Sunday availability is important)
- The ability to creatively & quickly problem solve, collaborate with a team and stay calm under pressure
