Position Overview :
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping and Receiving Clerk to efficiently manage the handling of incoming and outgoing shipments. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate processing of orders, maintain inventory accuracy, and support overall logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists.
- Prepare and process outgoing shipments, including packaging, labeling, and documentation.
- Maintain accurate records of all shipping and receiving activities.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and report discrepancies.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist in improving shipping and receiving procedures for greater efficiency.
