What are the responsibilities and job description for the Copywriter (Freelance) position at Alice and Olivia?
This position is responsible for executing all copywriting needs across company and helping develop editorial content ideas on a monthly / seasonal basis through the direction of our creative team.
Responsibilities
- Write and edit all product copy for website, emails, and homepages
- Produce copy specific to individual department needs and all copy needed for creative related requests
- Write and help develop strategy behind marketing emails, hangtags, and all creative related requests
- Develop copy for social posts and blog / manage social posts when necessary
- Help strategize on all digital and social media editorial initiatives
- Develop editorial calendar with the marketing and ecommerce team
Qualifications
- Able to develop fun and show stopping copy that resonates with our customer
- Commitment of 20 hours a week to work on copywriting needs
- Effective in developing dynamic editorial content
- 3 years experience as a copywriter or editor
- Excellent grammar and spelling skills
- Blogging and social media copy experience
- Must be familiar with Microsoft office
