About the ROLE :
Milk Makeup is looking for a Copywriter who is an expert at using data and insights to craft creative, conversion-driving copy across multiple touchpoints, all while maintaining a smart, conversational brand voice and operational excellence.
The Copywriter reports into the Editorial Director and will collaborate closely with cross-functional departments to write optimize copy to meet marketing objectives, sharpen packaging, and elevate storytelling brand voice. You’ll need to be extremely creative, collaborative, and open to feedback. Exceptional beauty writing, grammar, and proofreading skills are a must.
How you’ll THRIVE :
Craft smart, compelling, channel-specific copy that is on-brand on-strategy in a timely manner to support all marketing, editorial, and business needs.You’re an expert in writing across various platforms, including but not limited to : web / digital, emails, SMS, paid media, product pages, quizzes, blog, pack copy, in-store fixtures, PR influencer sends, video scripts, tagline writing, storytelling hooks, brand and cultural initiatives, customer service responses, etc.You thrive at adapting brand voice to craft copy that’s conversion-driving, search-optimized, witty, snappy, vibey, conversational, emotionally charged, educational, etc. depending on business needs.You’re deeply into beauty and follow all the trends, influencers, and brands pushing the conversation forward in the industryYou understand how copy plays with visuals and love working with art directors, designers, and video editors to hit that perfect mix of visual-verbal storytellingYou’re a strong collaborator and enjoy fostering crossfunctional relationshipsLiaise with Legal, Brand Marketing, PD to ensure that copy meets all legal and regulatory requirementsYou’re excited about using AI to optimize copy and help maintain operational excellence—or better yet, you’ve got experience in programs like Jasper, Writer.AI, and ClearscopeResponsible for proofreading to ensure copy is spotless and error-free across all channelsWhy you’ll love being part of MILK MAKEUP :
