District Attendance Clerk/Truancy Processor @ Instruction Department

Provide assistance to campus personnel in interpreting and enforcing compulsory attendance laws, school board attendance policies, and district attendance procedures. Serve as the district liaison to parents. Prepare truancy cases from campuses.
Education/Certification:
- High school diploma or GED
- Qualify for state paraprofessional certification
Special Knowledge/Skills:
- Knowledge of state compulsory attendance laws and district policies and procedures
- Ability to interpret laws, policies, and procedures and work under pressure
- Proficient in general office skills, with a strong knowledge of ESP, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF, Google Drive, and typing
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills & attention to details
- Self-motivated and the ability to work independently without supervision
- Pleasant telephone personality and effective communications skills
- Spanish language skills preferred
Experience:
- Three years of attendance experience and knowledge of attendance laws preferred

Salary Range Min-$28,921 Mid-$35,053 Max-$41,183 (Based on previous experience)
