The Braillist will be responsible for transcribing materials into Braille for visually impaired students, ensuring accessibility to educational materials. The role involves collaborating with educators and students to provide necessary Braille materials for coursework.
Qualifications
- Proficient in Braille transcription and tactile graphics creation
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience working with visually impaired individuals
- Knowledge of educational curriculum and materials
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently
- Certification in Braille transcription is a plus
- Experience in a school or educational setting is beneficial
