The Health Client Manager I is the main point of contact for the client with respect to ongoing Health
Benefits delivery, reporting needs, requirements definitions, large scale ad hoc projects, and service delivery
questions. The Client Manager is viewed as the Health Benefits service lead for the client and is responsible
for client satisfaction, domain consulting, and requirements creation and maintenance.
- The client manager builds a strong relationship with the client and interacts with the client contacts on a regular basis.
- Understands the client requirements and can answer questions from both an operational and technological approach.
- Manages projects from beginning to end by working with a global team.
- Coaches, consults and develops team on best practices
Responsibilities as a Health Client Manager I:
- Work on domain and operational solutions
- Develop a solid understanding of our technology solutions
- Manages projects from being to end and provides subject matter expertise to client
- Seamlessly work with a global team of colleagues focused on client delivery and satisfaction
- Main point of contact for client on area of expertise
- Builds domain and operational skills across the client team
- Using ad hoc reporting, Google Analytics, and Advanced Table Editor to assist with escalations, and consult with clients
- Acts as the subject matter expert for all service specific and common client requirements; accountable for requirement changes across various aspects of client delivery
- Leads internal and external meetings for ongoing delivery
- Manages the delivery of client reporting including non-standard client reporting needs
- Illustrates proper investigation through a variety of information sources to draw conclusions; can identify when to escalate to Performance Team Leader as needed
Education and skills:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
- Ability to translate concepts to client requirements that drive technological and process solutions to meet client needs.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience of project and client management experience including multifaceted projects and teams (including onsite and virtual)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Leadership and coaching skills
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to facilitate effective conversations with internal and external clients
- The ability to persuade, influence and negotiate. (Must have a track record of influencing indirect parties to accomplish client objectives).
- Flexible and adaptable with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Some travel may be required
Work experience:
- 2 or more years of Health Welfare/Annual enrollment experience
- 2 or more years project management experience
- 1 or more years coaching experience and leveraging work through others
