THE JOB/THE GIST
Responsible for coding and processing vendor invoices as assigned in accordance with Company policy. Additionally, as a member of the Accounts Payable Team you will perform various duties related to the AP function, such as determining if POs have been received, and creating vendor resale certificates as requested.

HOURS: 7:00 am to 4:00 pm (or as established by AP Supervisor)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS ACCOUNTING:
· Code and enter all vendor invoices as assigned.
· Check invoices to determine if PO is received and related follow up.
· Enter monthly recurring vouchers.
· Update various spreadsheets (as assigned) for coding (e.g., FedEx, Enterprise, and/or HNAS).
· Create resale certificates for vendors when requested.
SECONDARY/SUPPORT FUNCTIONS:
· Backup to answer the phone and process mail on an as needed basis.

QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily and mustbe detail oriented and able to work with minimal supervision. You should have strong organizational skills and be results oriented.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associate (AA) or Bachelor’s degree (BA) or equivalent in a related field preferred; or three to five years AP experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be detail-oriented and proficient with Excel spreadsheets and Word documents. Knowledge of Dynamics Great Plains and NetSuite software is a plus.
Salary : $56,000 - $59,000
