Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Pilates Instructor to join our dynamic fitness team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Pilates, with the ability to educate and inspire clients of all fitness levels. This role involves leading group classes, providing personalized instruction, and promoting a healthy lifestyle within our health club environment.
Duties
- Conduct engaging and effective Pilates classes for individuals and groups, ensuring proper technique and safety.
- Educate clients on the principles of Pilates, including core strength, flexibility, and body alignment.
- Develop tailored workout plans that meet the specific needs and goals of clients.
- Maintain a positive and motivating atmosphere during classes to enhance client experience.
- Promote additional services offered by the gym, including personal training and group fitness classes.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in fitness, physiology knowledge, and Pilates techniques.
- Collaborate with other fitness professionals to create a well-rounded program for members.
- Ensure all equipment is maintained in good condition and the studio environment is clean and welcoming.
Qualifications
- Certification in Pilates instruction from a recognized organization is required.
- Previous experience in fitness sales or working within a gym or health club setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of physiology and anatomy as it relates to exercise and movement.
- Experience in related disciplines such as kickboxing, CrossFit, or personal training is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with clients and foster a supportive community.
- Ability to motivate clients and adapt classes to accommodate varying skill levels.
