Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned :
- Actively engage in and initiate Continuous Improvement activities
- Create and distribute invoices for all customer orders in a timely manner
- Process incoming payment transactions and post to Accounts Receivable (ACH, EFT, Wire and Check)
- Set up and maintain Accounts Receivable records, file deposits and wire backup documentation
- Report weekly on past due accounts
- Handle and resolve customer and or vendor calls regarding invoicing and collection issues
- Reconcile and balance Accounts Receivable to General Ledger on a monthly basis
- Process and maintain customer credit applications
- Process customer statements
- Create and distribute Accounts Receivable reporting as needed
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities
- Process daily invoices from vendors with accuracy and timeliness
- Process all check runs
- Set up and maintain Accounts Payable records
- Maintain contact with vendors and internal staff while observing confidentiality of vendor and company matters
- Manage receipt and retention of sales tax exemption certifications and W-9’s
- Reconcile and balance the payable accounts to the General Ledger on a monthly basis
- Create and distribute Accounts Payable reporting as needed
- Assist with additional projects, reporting, key performance indicators, etc.
