The position of Experienced Calypso Quality Inspector at ALIGN PRECISION is a key role in ensuring the highest quality standards are met in our manufacturing processes. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for performing inspections and setting quality assurance testing models for analysis of raw materials, materials in process, and finished products.
About the Role:
- Perform inspections of raw materials, materials in process, and finished products to ensure they meet our quality standards.
- Program CMMs and set metrology methods per best practices and/or customer requirements.
- Proficient in Calypso Programming Software and experience with measuring part dimensions using CMMs.
- Continually improve and implement new programs and tools to develop and support our culture.
- Identify and develop process and equipment needed to produce specific products, parts, and components.
- Participate in the development of the company's strategic planning, vision, mission, and values and desired culture.
Key Competencies:
- Use of Technology - utilizing metrology tools from handheld to CMMs.
- Calypso software proficiency and ability to work in a team environment.
- Design - Blueprint reading, GD&T knowledge, and attention to detail.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and/or 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
- Experience working in an AS9100 manufacturing environment.
