Job Summary: We are seeking an energetic, talented and driven Mechanical Design Engineer to join our design team. You will be joining a team of skilled designers and also play a critical role in shaping the future of our products. Key Responsibilities:
- Projects: Planning, development, and execution of engineering projects from concept through to production. Ensure projects meet technical specifications, timelines, and budget.
- Design and Innovation: Design of new products and the refinement of existing ones. Encourage innovation and ensure that design practices adhere to the highest industry standards.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including Manufacturing and Sales, to ensure product designs are feasible and align with customer and market needs.
- Continuous Improvement: Focus on continuous improvement practices to enhance product quality, reduce costs, and streamline design processes.
- Reporting and Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation and provide regular progress reports to senior management.
- Willingness to Travel: Up to 25%
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Design Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in mechanical design.
- Proficient in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and engineering design principles.
- Strong understanding of materials, fabrication processes, and engineering standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions based on qualitative and quantitative information.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
