This position is ideal for a junior-to-mid level Human Resource professional to join the Talent Acquisition Team as a Talent Acquisition Onboarding Specialist. The primary role will be focused on supporting the North American hiring processes (US and Canada) as well as the candidate interview and new hire onboarding experiences. The TA Onboarding Specialist primarily supports the offer letter process, background check process, and the onboarding of our new hires. Partnering with candidates you'll provide a positive candidate experience throughout the onsite interview process. The role does not actively involve sourcing and screening of candidates but is essential to ensure a smooth and memorable experience for our candidates, helping Align achieve better hiring outcomes.

Role expectations
- Support TA Partners, where necessary, in the coordination of complex interview schedules where automated systems are not fully capable, ensuring a timely scheduling process
- Facilitate candidate travel arrangements for interviews and process candidate expenses related to travel for a prompt reimbursement to our candidates
- Generate offer letters, ensuring accuracy, and initiate the offer approval process via our applicant tracking system
- Schedule, monitor, and communicate pre-employment background checks
- Close out job requisitions after positions are filled and submit new hire onboarding information to our HR, IT, Facilities, and Payroll partners.
- Support new hire onboarding and orientation to ensure new hires are set up for success from day one
- Serve as the primary point of contact for new hires, addressing any questions or concerns they may have, and providing support and engagement from the time of offer acceptance through their start date.
- Manage onboarding for new vendors, and processes associated with vendor contracts and payment of invoices
- Collaborate with various departments including IT, Facilities, and HR Operations, to ensure a seamless onboarding experience
- Contribute to team projects and support the Sr. TA Program Manager as projects arise
- Partner with our TA Coordinator in Europe on bi-weekly basis as well as provide back-up support of their work, when necessary
- Our office is currently hybrid with the majority of employees working in the office Tuesday through Thursday, however his role might require the incumbent to be in the office on some Mondays or Fridays.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a TA Coordinator or another role focused on providing strong candidate or new hire experiences
- Familiarity with scheduling within an applicant tracking system
- To be organized, proactive, and able to prioritize simultaneous daily responsibilities
- Experience with Ariba, Aravo and SAP is a plus
- Agility in changing tasks, priorities, and work schedules with short notice
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Meticulous attention to detail with a mindset of providing positive experiences
- Strong team player that easily builds relationships and communicates with others (coworkers, managers, candidates, etc.)
- Strong computer skills in MS Office and MS Teams specifically
