We are pleased to announce that due to growth, we are opening an opportunity for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our amazing team in beautiful Sarasota, FL. -Responsible for the monthly close of 50 general ledgers
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Perform general ledger accounting and reconciliations
- Partner with offshore accounting team
- Monitor and maintain internal controls in accordance with SOX regulations
- Collaborate with external auditors during financial audits
- Integrate and collaborate with accounting team
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting regulations Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience) required, Master's preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting (Multi-location Medical/Dental experience a huge plus!)
- Strong knowledge of financial concepts and principles
- Proficiency in general ledger accounting and double-entry bookkeeping
- Experience with Sage or similar accounting software
- Previous experience in public accounting is a plus
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
