Plant Manager
Location: Delaware
Position Purpose:
The Plant Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of plant operations, ensuring production goals are met efficiently, safely, and ethically. This role includes managing P&L, materials planning, logistics, quality assurance, safety, equipment maintenance, employee training, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage overall plant operations, ensuring production meets quality and efficiency targets.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive profitability and operational excellence.
- Lead and develop high-performing teams while fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
- Oversee compliance with environmental, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, engineering, and finance.
- Monitor and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive performance improvements.
- Prepare and manage budgets to optimize resources and meet financial objectives.
- Ensure clear communication of policies, goals, and expectations across the organization.
Qualifications:
- 15 years of leadership experience in manufacturing, project management, or related fields.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong background in people development, strategic planning, and change management.
- Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Willing to travel 20%
