Role Overview:
Our Business Tax Services (BTS) group focuses on the critical impact of tax on business and personal ambitions, going beyond obligations to uncover opportunities and manage risks. We cater to a diverse clientele, including privately held and family-owned businesses, individuals, family offices, public corporations, and tax-exempt organizations, leveraging our industry expertise and global insights to help our clients navigate today's economy and shape a lasting legacy.
Responsibilities:
Apply your technical expertise in fields like product development and pharmaceuticals to identify client innovation opportunities during meetings.
Create comprehensive technical narratives to capture clients' qualifying R&D activities, analyzing complex information such as design documents and lab reports.
Work collaboratively with an international team of professionals, including accountants, attorneys, and engineers, to deliver high-quality, critical analysis.
Oversee client projects to meet expectations and deadlines, and contribute to the enhancement of our specialized research credit technology platform.
Required Qualifications:
A predicted undergraduate degree in Industrial Engineering or Management Information Systems (MIS); supported by a strong academic record.
A strong understanding of engineering techniques, scientific methods, product development, manufacturing processes, design methodologies and prototyping.
A strong understanding of development technologies, cloud computing, programming languages, software architectures, algorithms, and database design.
The ability and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary.
Preferred qualifications:
Strong organizational and time management skills with a demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
Creative thinking and technical writing abilities that enable you to effectively identify and describe the innovation within clients’ development efforts.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Compensation:
The compensation for the position is $75,000 - $94,000.
