Leasing Agent
I am looking for a motivated leasing agentto join our thriving apartment leasing team. The ideal candidate for this position will enjoy fast-paced work, show creativity, and have a high degree of professionalism when working with our residents. The goal is scout potential prospects, and turn them into actual potential tenants and achieve high occupancy rates.
Responsibilities are as follow:
- Present property and provided amenities in a positive light to prospective tenants
- Navigate the property
- Advertise available properties using a variety of media and promoting materials
- Market the property efficiently and effectively to ensure a high level of traffic and implement aggressive sales techniques to ensure a high closing ratio
- Renew existing tenant leases
- Determine the needs, living standards and economic viability of prospect customers
- Confirm rental application data and personal references
- Stay knowledgeable of the property market status
- Provide information on all aspects of properties
- Explain leasing terms and conditions and close deals
- Prepare and organize resident documentation, including lease agreements
- Verify applications and follow up on applications including resident screening
- Consistent follow up on prospects and leads
- Maintain prospect records using proprietary online tools
- Walk vacant units to ensure property and unit upkeep and readiness for leasing
- Oversee the move in process
Skills
- Proven working experience as leasing agent
- Working knowledge of real estate and leasing practices
- Up to date with property market status
- MS Office familiarity and WhatsApp application
- Excellent communication skills demonstrating verbal and written expression, active listening and ability to maintain interpersonal relationships
- Persuasive with marketing and sales skills
- Customer service orientation
- Must speak English and Spanish
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.50 per hour
