Alisal, a luxury 10,500 private acre working Ranch and Resort in the heart of Santa Barbara Wine Country is seeking an experienced and service-oriented Cook II to join our team. This full-time regular position entails working in the Culinary division and ability to work most stations in the kitchen line. Assisting with plated banquets, BBQ's, and outdoor culinary events cooks. Heightened focus on maintaining kitchen cleanliness & organization. Additionally, this role must support the culinary team with any other necessary assignments while following strict sanitation protocols and kitchen standards.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Prior culinary experience required.
- CA Food Handler's / ServSafe certification.
- Skillful at utilizing all kitchen equipment and tools.
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, preparations, measurements, portions, and ingredients.
- Experienced implementing food sanitation standards, following recipes, and executing proper food storage methods.
- Desire to establish outstanding, authentic, and memorable interactions with internal and external guests.
- Integrity, dependability, and adaptability.
- Skilled at multi-tasking, heightened attention to detail, speed, accuracy, and organization.
- Graceful demeanor under pressure.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull minimum 50 lbs.
- Able to work on site and to stand, sit, walk, and move continuously for duration of shift.
- Ability to work outside, indoors, in varying temperatures.
