If you agree to use your own vehicle in good working conditions and with the required minimum insurance coverage for field work. A minimum of 100K/300K/100K auto liability insurance is required and must be verified at the start of and during your employment. Alisto will provide a $25.00 tax-free daily allowance for travel expenses.
Essential Job Gas Leak Survey Field Technician Functions and Responsibilities:
- Accurately detect and classify gas leaks, identify and grade atmospheric corrosion, identify and date entry of regulators, meters, etc. per provided guides,
- Measure and record specific field data at locations provided by the client with strict conformance with the
Client’s procedures and industry standards,
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain portable leak detection equipment and tools as needed,
- Requires travel of up to 100% of the time
- Some positions are for weekend work only.
- Functions and duties may be supplemented or revised by Alisto, at its sole discretion or as directed by client
- Work is mostly outside under various weather conditions but may also require entry into buildings.
Education, Certificates and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required, AA degree in technical or engineering subjects
desired
- Good written and verbal skills
- Must have completed the OSHA 10-hour Construction Safety training within the past two years
- Must be able to complete basic data entry and read and identify locations from provided maps
- Must be familiar with basic Smart phone or tablet functionality and related applications
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
- Must take and pass a pre-employment drug test, physical and background check and must adhere to and is
subject to all U.S. Department of Transportation Drug and Alcohol related regulations
- Must always follow and adhere to Alisto and Client’s safety plans and procedures
NOTE: It is the responsibility of the applicant to obtain the required certification for Operator Qualification and OSHA 10-hour Construction Safety training on their own time and expense. Alisto may at its own discretion pay for the training and evaluation fee to selected applicants to be Operator Qualified.
