Job Summary
The driver is responsible for providing a safe and pleasant transportation environment for any client/participant to and from specified center and to group activities according to pre-arranged routes and schedules under the direction of the Supervisor. Must have an acceptable driving record.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provides transportation services to participants as assigned by immediate supervisor.
- Provides special transportation services to clients and participants associated with Aliviane, Inc.
- Conduct a daily pre-trip and post-trip inspection and reports to appropriate staff member in a timely manner when repairs are suspected/needed.
- Maintains a clean interior and the exterior of the van/vehicles.
- Assures no food or drinks are consumed in the company van.
- Complies and prepares all required documentation and reports to the supervisor in a timely and accurate manner.
- Documents all services provided to clients and participants.
- Makes sure safety precautions are always taken.
- Maintains excellent work habits through timeliness and low absenteeism. Understands, accepts, implements, and promotes Aliviane Inc. Mission Statement, program/department goals, philosophy, and objectives.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
- Attends organizational training.
- Must read, understand, and comply with organizational policies and procedures.
- Conformity with client rights to confidentiality as protected under CFR 42, Chapter 1, and Part 2 and HIPPA Privacy rules is mandatory.
- Willingness to network and participate in other community service agency projects.
