The Role Summary:
Requires insight into the behavioral sciences and specific training in client care; supervise the self-administration of medication, monitors client’s compliance with program rules, provides transportation and crisis interventions. Work requires basic concern for quality of care, maintaining a professional relationship with all residents while helping the individual in their recovery, empathetic and belief in human potential for growth, as well as a willingness to coordinate and work cooperatively with others.
Required Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. Certification
- One year experience in drug abuse treatment setting and proficient in computer skills including knowledge of a word processing program and a spreadsheet program.
- Any combination of education and experience that can be demonstrated to be applicable to the duties listed in the job description.
