What you'll do
In this dynamic role on AlixPartners' Corporate Services team, you will provide recruitment and sourcing support by working closely with hiring managers and the People Business Partner team to ensure a seamless recruiting experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading full-cycle recruitment processes for Corporate Services departments and diverse industry verticals on the Consulting side. Although primary responsibility will be to recruit for experienced/lateral positions, this position may flex from working across the different departments and may also assist in University Recruiting, dependent on business needs. This role involves partnering closely with hiring managers, providing strategic sourcing solutions, and delivering top-tier talent to meet business objectives.
The Talent Acquisition Senior Professional role is in Southfield, Michigan, reporting to a Talent Acquisition Manager/Director. Paid relocation is not available.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of high potential candidates for multiple departments by proactively identifying and attracting top talent through various channels, including direct sourcing, job boards, professional networks, social media, employee referrals, and utilizing firmwide tools (Greenhouse, LinkedIn) to engage candidates across a variety of industry and functional areas.
- End-to-end recruitment by managing the entire hiring process from job requisition to offer acceptance, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding candidates; Independently review resumes; conduct preliminary screenings thereby deciding if applicants are qualified; schedule and manage candidates using sound judgment throughout the recruiting process.
- Align to global best practices for Talent Recruitment and Acquisition.
- Strategize and partner with hiring managers to develop comprehensive job descriptions and tailored recruiting methodologies.
- Function as a credible, trusted recruiting advisor to all stakeholders in the recruiting process by providing competitive intelligence, including industry trends, market conditions, and salary benchmarking to guide hiring decisions.
- Represent the company as a brand ambassador and create an outstanding candidate experience for all candidates; effectively communicate the AlixPartners value proposition and culture to candidates.
- Participate in change initiatives and projects that will enable change across talent acquisition.
- Maintain clean data quality and up-to-date information within the firm's Applicant Tracking System (Greenhouse) and ensure all processes and required steps to recruit and onboard talent are followed.
- Communicate updates with applicants, recruiters, and hiring managers; provide recommendations on next steps and on final offer terms to hiring team.

What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree highly preferred
- Minimum four (4) years of recruiting experience, ideally in a professional services firm environment
- Solid experience in experienced, lateral hires and junior talent recruitment
- In-house recruiting experience highly preferred
- Experience with candidate selection, sourcing, conducting behavioral interview phone screens
- Organized workstyle: effectively manages and prioritizes workload, high attention to detail, assumes and manages multiple tasks without close supervision, adapts to change, and consistently meets deadlines
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple requisitions and hiring managers
- Exhibits the highest degree of integrity and understanding of the confidentiality of candidates' information.
- Experienced and comfortable working and communicating directly with senior executives and professional staff
- Proactive, self-starter and understands the urgency and confidentiality of the recruiting function
- Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, LinkedIn Recruiter, and Applicant Tracking Systems (Greenhouse preferred)
- Analytical; capable of developing and managing related reports and metrics
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Core working hours are generally 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday - Friday; willingness to work outside of normal U.S. business hours, and as unique projects/needs arise.
- Ability to work full time in an office and remote environment; physically able to sit/stand at a computer and work in front of a computer screen for significant portions of the workday.
