P/T Group Facilitator/ Intake Specialist

Position Overview

The part time Group Facilitator/ Intake Specialist is a Licensed or Licensed Eligible Clinician supporting all clinical facets of programming including facilitation of groups as well as completing initial assessments of new admissions at 20 hours/week.

Job Functions

·       Facilitates group counseling in accordance with the established clinical program to include Detox/ Residential/ PHP/IOP/ and OP Levels of care with one day of weekend coverage at the inpatient facility.  

·       Establishes and maintains knowledge regarding documentation with the electronic medical records system: Sun Wave, Completes documentation in a timely manner

·       Assists with completion of intakes for new admissions, ie. Biopsychosocial Evaluations, Suicide Assessment, Initial Treatment Plan, and admission ASAM.

·       Collects and prepares data as requested by the Executive Director and or Clinical Director.

·       Maintains and obtains all appropriate credentials regarding substance abuse counseling and mental health licensure  

·       Acts a support to the clinical team, ie therapists, case manager, clinical techs in care of patients

·       Collaborates with Medical Providers to ensure comprehensive care is provided to clients  

Requirements

·       LAC or LPC, or LCSW preferred

·       Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy or Healthcare related major

·       Valid CO driver’s license and auto insurance

·       Excellent written and oral communication skills

·       Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm

·       Able to work collaboratively with multiple health and criminal justice professionals using tact, diplomacy, and discipline

·       Exhibits a high degree of courtesy, tact, and poise when interacting with patients, families, and other personnel

·       Clinical knowledge pertaining to substance use disorders, mental health diagnoses, as well as trauma specific populations

Salary : $34 - $38
