What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director, Consumer Marketing – LYBALVI Brand Team position at Alkermes?
The Director will be responsible for the strategy and execution of LYBALVI Consumer Marketing activities supporting the bipolar 1 disorder and schizophrenia indications of LYBALVI. This includes Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) strategy, media plan, content development, and analysis. The position requires an experienced and highly motivated individual with strong strategic and leadership capabilities.
Alkermes has recently adopted a hybrid working environment to support and meet the needs of employees and this role will operate in a flexible environment with 60% of time in the office and 40% from home.
Job Responsibilities Include :
- Leads development of the strategy, planning, and execution of Consumer Marketing, including annual brand planning
- Leads development of the strategy, content, media plan, analysis and optimization for the DTC campaign
- Leads Consumer marketing team (2) providing direction, coaching, and development of staff
- Understands the trends in bipolar 1 disorder and schizophrenia, drivers of consumer behavior, and how to reach and engage Serious Mental Illness (SMI) patients
- Directs and manages agency partners through the development of branded online and offline material including TV, digital and print advertising collateral
- Directs and manages media agency to ensure optimal placement of DTC assets
- Directs and manages the Consumer marketing budget, including Statement of Work (SOW) and change orders, accruals, and budget forecasting
- Works with cross functional team to forecast, analyze, and optimize DTC spend
- Provides input and direction to market research while guiding application of insights from Consumer research studies
