Job Description
The Director will be responsible for the strategy and execution of LYBALVI Consumer Marketing activities supporting the bipolar 1 disorder and schizophrenia indications of LYBALVI. This includes Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) strategy, media plan, content development, and analysis. The position requires an experienced and highly motivated individual with strong strategic and leadership capabilities.
Alkermes has recently adopted a hybrid working environment to support and meet the needs of employees and this role will operate in a flexible environment with 60% of time in the office and 40% from home.
Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities Include : Leads development of the strategy, planning, and execution of Consumer Marketing, including annual brand planningLeads development of the strategy, content, media plan, analysis and optimization for the DTC campaignLeads Consumer marketing team (2) providing direction, coaching, and development of staffUnderstands the trends in bipolar 1 disorder and schizophrenia, drivers of consumer behavior, and how to reach and engage Serious Mental Illness (SMI) patientsDirects and manages agency partners through the development of branded online and offline material including TV, digital and print advertising collateralDirects and manages media agency to ensure optimal placement of DTC assetsDirects and manages the Consumer marketing budget, including Statement of Work (SOW) and change orders, accruals, and budget forecastingWorks with cross functional team to forecast, analyze, and optimize DTC spendProvides input and direction to market research while guiding application of insights from Consumer research studiesQualifications
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in business or science12 years of experience with positions of increasing responsibilityPreferred Skill and Knowledge Qualifications :
8 years of product management / marketing experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry Consumer & Digital Marketing experienceStrong people and agency management experienceAbility to lead cross-functional teamsAbility to develop strategy and communicate upwardsAbility to collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendorsDemonstrated analytical skills
