Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor machinery to ensure optimal performance and quality output.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise during operation.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to set up machines accurately.
- Utilize CAM programming to optimize machining processes.
- Apply basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and adjustments as needed.
- Use hand tools and tooling effectively for assembly and production tasks.
- Adhere to safety protocols while working in a factory environment to maintain a safe workspace.
- Collaborate with team members to improve production efficiency and quality control measures.
- Implement GD&T principles in the manufacturing process to ensure precision in parts produced.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Machine Operator or similar role in a manufacturing setting.
- Familiarity with CAD software for design purposes is preferred.
- Strong understanding of welding techniques is a plus.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical specifications accurately.
- Proficient in using hand tools and machinery safely and effectively.
- Basic math skills are essential for measurements and calculations related to machining tasks.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
