What are the responsibilities and job description for the Child Care Center Director position at All About Kids Childcare and Learning Center?
We are seeking a child care center Director level individual to join our Management Team located in the Cincinnati area. Our Child Care Management position is full time Monday - Friday. If you are excited to work closely with the center's teachers, local community, families and children with a focus on education through play, then we want to speak with you!
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor's, CDA, or AA in associated field or equivalent experience.
- At least two years of experience working in a childcare setting
- Must be excited and eligible to work with young children
The responsibilities of our Child Care Management include, but are not limited to:
- Overall daily operations of the program and facility, with some of your working hours spent in classrooms working with students and staff development.
- Ensuring a safe and educational environment for all children through managing staff, developing curriculum, communicating with parents and the community, and adhering to all licensing rules and requirements.
- Program Development and Evaluation tasks may include conducting tours of the center for prospective families, performing program self-assessment and file reviews.
- Human Resources Leadership and Development tasks may include interviewing, hiring, training, schedules, professional development, staff appreciation events, staff observation, staff meetings, corrective action and payroll.
- Family and Community Partnerships tasks may include organizing weekly extra-curricular classes with outside companies, updates to social media and website, plan and organize in-house activities and events for parents and families and monthly calendar, updating Parent Communication Boards, organize Parent Education Nights, organize fundraising events and community donation drives, organize Community Outreach Events
- Business Operations and Management tasks may include weekly billing, expense tracking and budgets, center assessments, inventory assessments, maintenance assessments, annual fire inspections and extinguisher inspections, annual disaster plan review, annual policies and procedures review
