Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Snow Plow Operator to join our team. This role is essential for maintaining safe and accessible roadways during winter weather conditions. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in operating snow removal equipment. A commitment to safety and efficiency is paramount, as well as the ability to work in challenging weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate snow plow trucks and other snow removal equipment to clear roads, parking lots, and sidewalks.
• Monitor weather conditions and respond promptly to snowfall and ice events.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment, ensuring all machinery is in good working order.
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate snow removal efforts effectively.
• Conduct groundskeeping tasks as needed, including tree care, lawn care, and landscaping activities during off-season periods.
• Utilize power tools for tree trimming and other maintenance tasks as required.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and maintain snow removal equipment.
• Experience with groundskeeping, including tree care, lawn care, building landscapes, and gardening.
• Proficient in operating power tools safely and effectively.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on safety protocols.
• Physical stamina to operate machinery for extended periods in various weather conditions.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
