Memory Care Director

Job Summary
The Memory Care Director is responsible for overseeing the operations and management of our two memory care neighbors with a focus on resident engagement. This role requires a compassionate leader. The Memory Care Director will ensure that all care practices meet regulatory standards while fostering a supportive and engaging environment for both residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the memory care unit, ensuring compliance with all regulations and standards.
• Supervise staff, providing training and support to enhance their skills in memory care practices.
• Develop and create an activity calendar monthly.
• Execute engagement activities.
• Drive the bus no CDL required. Training will be provided.
• Collaborate with families, healthcare professionals, and community resources to provide comprehensive care.
• Be a part of the tour team as needed.
• Maintain financial oversight of the memory care unit, including budgeting and resource allocation.
• Foster a positive community atmosphere that encourages social interaction and engagement among residents.

Skills

• Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management and resource allocation.
• In-depth knowledge of memory care principles and best practices
• Background assisted living with a focus on engagement .
• Excellent operations management skills, with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
• Ability to create a nurturing environment that supports residents' emotional and physical well-being.
• Dementia care experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
