Job Duties:
- Identify, target, and engage potential clients in need of traffic control and safety solutions for special events, construction projects, and work zones.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed sales targets, while maintaining a strong focus on customer needs and satisfaction.
- Establish and cultivate relationships with key decision-makers, stakeholders, and industry partners to generate business opportunities.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and potential growth areas.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of customer projects, from initial inquiry to project completion.
- Provide expert advice and recommendations to clients regarding traffic control strategies, FDOT regulations, and safety compliance.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and contract negotiations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline management using CRM tools.
- Continuously monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, adapting strategies as needed to achieve targets.
Job Qualifications:
- Proven track record of successful sales experience in the traffic control, construction, or related industry.
- Strong ability to prospect, negotiate, and close deals.
- Deep understanding of traffic safety regulations, FDOT guidelines, and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence clients.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to meet client needs.
- Proficiency in using CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales tools.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented mindset.
- Familiarity with traffic control services and regulations is a plus.
- Knowledge of FDOT regulations and permitting process is advantageous.
